1. Mavs Fall toTrailblazers- If the playoffs were to start today this would be the Mavs matchup... and this one was difficult to watch. The Mavs desperately need another consistent scorer behind Dirk and watching Roy breakdown our D and get to the hoop repeatedly was reminiscient of so many other playoff series gone bad. I should have just called it a night after Glee.
2. Rangers Still Searching for Rotation- Early on the indication was the Feliz would have to be a top 3 starter to make the move from the bullpen. Now we hear that he is one of the top 4 contenders for the final two spots, one of which is only available because Webb won't be ready for a while. Its funny that we spend so much time worrying about the rotation when it always ends up changing eleventeen times by mid-August.
3. Cruz Dropped in Batting Order- Cruz got pre-Spring pump as a possible home run champ in the coming season. So far it looks like he's swinging like it. Supposedly he has found the hole in his swing after noticing that he's leaving too much wait back. I've also noticed with my kids that sometimes they close their eyes and opening them makes them better... somebody should check that out.
4. Jerry Jones Leading Lockout- We are so sick of hearing about his stadium and how he grew up and how he won three Super Bowls. His latest negotiation tactics show that he is quickly approaching the ego level of Al Davis.
5. Bully Gets Dropped- Don't ever pick on somebody that is bigger than you... and watches pro wrestling often
