1. Rangers Lose Game, Win Series- The biggest shock of the 2011 season came early Saturday afternoon when the Rangers finally lost a game. We were devastated and appropriately began throwing things against the wall, driving erratically, and kicking dogs and small children. Luckily, things got turned around in the next four hours and we recovered. Speaking of recovering, its good to see Beltre get things rolling with a two-homer series.
2. Harrison and Holland Are Smoking Hot- There is no doubt about it. I've always found solid pitching extremely attractive and these guys are delivering right now. Ogando gets his chance to impress for a second straight outing today, but what's even more fun to think about is Tommy Hunter, Scott Feldman and Brandon Webb all trying to come back from injury. The Ranger's are already discussing what it would mean to be the first team ever with an 8-man rotation.
3. Jason Terry Hates J.J. Barea- Probably because he's the only one smaller than him on the team. If you're asking me though, I'd still put my money on Barea. JET also scored zero points in the game as the Mavs screwed up their losing streak toward the 4-seed.
4. The Un-losing streak Continues- The only thing more difficult than keeping a strategic losing streak under wraps is keeping it going when you run into teams more motivated to lose than you are. The Suns have their eye on Jimmer Fredette and they are willing to go to any length to make it happen, including playing so bad there is no doubt that they are tryiong to lose.
5. How To Get Even With Cops- They'll think twice about writing this guy up for 35 in a 30.
